About Me

My name is Petter Amundsen and I was born in Bergen, Norway in 1964.

I have always been fascinated by photography and have owned various cameras since I was a young kid. I got my first SLR camera in 1982, a Ricoh KR-5, and soon after bought a Ricoh KR-10 Super. I was very active during the 80’s but eventually sold the equipment in 1992.

In 2007 I bought my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D40, and I was sold again. Today I have several Nikon bodys and lenses and I am more active at this hobby than ever before. My goal is to “get it right” from the camera and not “manipulate” it in editing software.
